THE IMMORTAL PRINCE
The world that Subject Alpha 001 was a cold, loveless one. His memories are vague of his time in the Underworld.
After his defeat at the hands of Dante, being sealed away in the Underworld, Demon King Mundus was thrown into a fit of rage.
His plan had been perfect. But to think that Nelo Angelo, Vergil Sparda, would lose to the likes of his Brother. Yet even in the throes of defeat, Mundus would not Yield. Dante had failed to kill Mundus, to strike the final blow. Though he had to regather his strength, he would be back without fail. He would come stronger and better prepared.
For he would not lose next time.
And so he devised a plan. As using one of the Sons of Sparda against their own Kin had failed to bring him to the heights of the Underworld, he would have to create a new one. A Hybrid that could contest the likes of Dante or Vergil, and any spawn that came from them.
Yet Mundus had no lovers, no concubines that he wished to use to create his greatest weapon. Instead, he used a plan that involved splicing together his own DNA with that of a Human. With a Human template, turning them into a Demon with the power of the great Demon King Mundus. It was a plan that would be fool proof.
His plans were initially successful, he had been able to use the Human genome to create new life. A Demon-Human hybrid that mirrored the naturally born success of Sparda's kin.
Yet once that hurdle was overcome, they reached a standstill.
The test Subject, Alpha 001, was failing to adapt to the Demonic Energies.
His body remained no greater than that of a strong Human, his Demonic power refusing to activate and ascend him to greatness like that which neither Dante nor Vergil could ever hope to achieve.
Yet the dogged persistence of Mundus caused him to push for extreme experiments, pumping the subject with more and more power, adjusting their body and giving them strength beyond reason or limit, to the point at which Mundus himself would fall. Yet even with all these modifications, experiments and even purified Demonic power that was pumped through every pore and every vein in his body.
These experiments went on for more years than Alpha could count. Mundus had been committed to the long run, he had no intentions to lose once again, to be sent retreating once more and have to spend years regaining his power.
However even his dogged persistence would wear thin.
No one could explain as to why the subject was unable to activate their Demonic Power. It was through no fault of the subject's will, nor the experiments themselves blocking his ability to tap into his overwhelming demonic potential.
Eventually, Alpha's time had run out.
It had come out of the blue as far as the subject was concerned. He didn't understand why he would find his master's blade through his chest, being destroyed by the very man who had brought him into being.
Yet as his body fell lifelessly to the ground, the feeling of not wanting to die, the overwhelming desire to continue living burst forth, as his body evaporated from sight.
Where he ended up? Not even Mundus could have forseen this event.
POWERS
Devil Trigger, as with his contemporary Hybrid Human-Demons, Alpha is able to use his Devil Trigger to gain an immense burst of power and regenerative energy. Upon activation, his wounds will heal, and his speed and power will raise substantially. Though he is unable to fly, he is instead able to continuously air hike to keep himself afloat. He will use last second Air Hikes to keep his opponents guessing as to where he will go next.
Lightning based attacks, whether he is in his Devil Trigger or not, Alpha is able to empower his blade with the power of Lightning, just as Mundus was able to before him. He is also able to fire ranged attacks using Lightning bolts fired from his Third eye in his Devil Trigger.
Note: Seeing it as a weak-point, a Mask appears upon his face to cover his Third Eye. It means his enemies are unable to discern how he is attacking, as well as hiding a potential weakspot for them to abuse.
STRENGTH OF THE DAMNED
WEAPON
Yone, the blade of the Underworld, crafted by Mundus himself. After his defeat at the hands of Dante, and knowing of the weapons passed down to him and his brother by the traitor, Sparda, Mundus set out to craft an even more potent weapon.
Portal Creation, Just like the Yamato, Yone is able to cut through dimensional fabrics and create portals between the Underworld and the Human World. It is also able to go beyond these realms, or create two portals within the same realm. It is his most common form of long distance travel.
Fire based attacks, with the same principle as the lightning based attacks, Alpha is able to empower his blade with the element of fire. However in his Devil Trigger, he is able to make things spontaneously combust with his Third eye, making his fire powers incredibly potent and dangerous.
